Custom QR codes
Although easily recognizable, standard QR codes can be an ugly part of product labelling or your design. We can make your QR code with colour and logos to match your brand image.
If you have a good designer, they can modify the QR codes for you. However, this is often expensive, and they can inadvertently damage the QR code so it won’t scan.
We have dedicated designers that can provide custom QR code designs for you.
This product includes;
- a static or dynamic QR code (see below for the difference between static and dynamic)
- QR code images design in 4 formats (SVG, eps, pdf and png)
In the comments box on the checkout page, tell us about your company’s brand and how you will be using the QR code. Let us know the colours you want. Please email us your logo as a png or jpeg file. Then our designers can create a custom QR code for you.
Cost €30
Any extra design time is charged at €15 per hour.
This example shows the same QR code in original and customized versions.
There are limits to the changes we can make to a QR code, as the overriding aim is to maintain its ability to be scanned. We can introduce two colours (with gradients), add a custom logo to the centre and alter the QR code’s foreground elements.
Call to Action
We can add a call to action such as ‘Buy Now’ or “Subscribe’.
Static or Dynamic
STATIC QR Codes
Encode your URL directly in the QR code. They are permanent. Static QR codes will work if your website URL doesn’t change. They can’t be changed, as the URL is encoded directly in the QR Code. They have unlimited scans. Static QR codes can also be used for things other than URLs, e.g. encoding text, v business cards, and sending an email or SMS messages.DYNAMIC QR Codes
Use our Dynamic QR Code service, which enables the target URL to be changed repeatedly in the future if required.Unlimited scans: Scans of the Dynamic QR Code are UNLIMITED so long as you don’t abuse the QR code with millions of scans that cause technical problems such as crashed servers. Please see our Fair Use Policy.
Functions for life: We will function for two years and will continue to function after that for as long as you pay a 2-year hosting fee.
FREE Unlimited redirection of the target URL: You can redirect the target URL as often as you want via our customer portal.
Unlimted lifetime tracking: We supply tracking for the lifetime of your dynamic qr code. Please see Tracking Reports.

Pallet Barcodes
Pallet barcodes are used on the pallet packaging. Hence if you are not sending the product by pallet, you may never need pallet barcodes; in this case, you may need an ITF-14 carton code instead.
In most countries, pallet barcodes are mainly required by larger retailers, particularly supermarkets or any other company using a large distribution centre, such as Mcdonald’s or Woolworths. However, we expect more retailers will require them in future.
Pallet barcodes are normally needed as a pair of barcodes; a GS128 and an SSCC.
Sometimes you may just need a new SSCC for a new pallet code, as you already have the GS128 barcode for that stock.
The GS128 barcode encodes multiple data such as expiry dates, batch number, quantity, as well as EAN or UPC number for a product.
The SSCC barcode is a unique number. This is so each pallet can be identified by a retailer or distribution centre.
Images below show examples of GS128 (top) and SSCC (bottom)
Work out how many you need. Purchase the quantity you want, and we will send you an email with an online form to input the data you want encoded. Once you have provided the required information, we will send the barcode images to you in 5 formats (tif, bmp, jpg, pdf & eps formats). We can provide additional formats upon request.
All prices are in US$
Quantity Price per barcode 1 € 15.00 2 € 12.00 3 € 10.00 4 + € 8.00 Application Identifiers (AI)
GS1 Application Identifiers (AIs) are numeric prefixes used in barcodes and EPC/RFID tags to define the meaning and format of encoded data elements.
Some of the most commonly used AIs are:
00 – SSCC
01 – GTIN
10 – Batch number
17 – Expiry date
37 – Number of Units (Count)
