Our Double Drawn hair

Double drawn hair refers to hair that has undergone a procedure in order to remove the short hairs from within the bundle. Since raw hair is sold by weight and length, double drawn hair is substantially more expensive and valuable than single drawn hair which contains large quantities of short hair.

Much larger quantities of raw hair need to be purchased in order to achieve significant quantities of double drawn hair. This hair is much more suitable for the creation of luxurious hair extensions, because it achieves the desired volume in the scalp area as well as obtaining the desired fullness at the ends. This minimises the amount of strands required for a proper application and also results in a much more comfortable experience .

Gold Fever removes all short hair from the raw material before starting the transformation process. Our hair is then placed in special osmotic baths whose particular formulas derive from the cashmere industry. We treat our hair in exactly the same way as cashmere is processed. This delicate and respectful procedure allows us to maintain the structure of the hair and its cuticle completely intact. Our hair does not undergo aggressive bleaching procedures, but rather stations in special osmosis formulas for 20 days or more, depending on the shade we want to achieve. This allows our hair to maintain its exceptional quality keeping the cuticle intact which makes the hair glossy, resistant and healthy.

Our single strand extensions are applied thanks to a protein-based polymer, very similar to the famous keratin. The horizontal cut of the Protein Tip ™ allows the stylist to apply the strands in more delicate areas of the head where the client’s natural hair is thinner and more delicate. This allows the stylist to safely apply the tailored strands using the Gold Fever application technique.
